Cumbernauld United have today announced the double signing of goalkeeper Greame Murphy and Defender John Higgins from Airdie on loan, rejoining the Nauld.

Troon have replaced Adam Forsyth with the triple signing of Forward Scott Miller, Defender Grant Thorburn and Goalie Lyle Avci all on loans for the rest of the season from Morton ( Miller ) and Ayr United.

Raith Rovers have loaned out Ryan Stevenson, Kyle Bell and Euan Valentine to Bo’ness, Dundonald Bluebell and Broxburn Athletic respectively.

Tranent today confirmed that Jamie Todd has left the club and joined Berwick Rangers, too progress his career and play at the highest level.

Craigroyston have let go of James Guy, we wish him the best as he finds a new club.

Holms answer to Arthurlie’s problems?

Arthurlie tonight have revealed the signing of ex Auchinleck, Girvan, Bellshill, BSC Glasgow and Clydebank midfielder Ryan Holmes from St Josephs AFC

Holmes has a wealth of junior experience as listed above and will be a welcome addition to the squad up at Barrhead. He will add some fight and some much needed competition to the squad and will be available for selection tomorrow through in Airdrie against Gartcairn in the Scottish Cup

Bo’ness add to squad

East region side Bo’ness United today have confirmed the signing of talented wide man Nicky Prentice from Glasgow side Pollok. Nicky Joined Pollok in the summer exciting fans in the sectional group with a dazzling display against St Anthonys. He also chipped in with a few goals coming in off the left hand side and being deployed as a striker. All of us here at GoalmouthScramble are sorry to see Nicky leave Pollok but we wish him all the best at Bo’ness for the rest of the season.

In other news Bo’ness also confirmed two loan acquisitions to bolster the sqaud, Ryan Stevenson of Raith Rovers and Ryan Hogan of Alloa, these players will bring welcome competition to get the best out of the squad for the rest of the season.

Roy snap up youngster after impressive loan spell

Rob Roy have completed the permanent signing of young central defender Daniel O’Halloran on an 18 month contract after he impressed on a loan spell from Hamilton Acidemical. O’Halloran has played in crucial games this season for the Roy and stepped up comfortably. Roy Gaffer Stewart Maxwell was delighted with the signing saying ” Hes a fantastic prospect who’s only going to get better, he has the attitude and work ethic to go far in the game.”

Maxwell also added that he feels the best place for O’Halloran to be is in the juniors, a great statement for the grade in general. Hopefully this creates a spark of a new age for Rob Roy, bringing the club together to build on last season’s success.
